The Eric Paine Memorial Shield

About Westbourne Casuals Squash Club

Westbourne Casuals Squash Club runs on a non-profit basis and aims to strike the ideal balance between some great games of squash and good social chat at a friendly club.

We have been running for over 20 years and can proudly boast some of our original members still coming along for a game at our weekly Wednesday 5.30 to 7.30 meet.

We play right through the year, and at only £2.50 a week, making it easy and convenient for Members to commit to a regular session of quality squash straight after work.

We also hold the Eric Paine trophy annually in memory of a founder Club Member and the Robin Birtley Legacy Shield Competition, introduced in 2016.

We use a simple peg and board game system to help everyone play on a rotational basis, ensuring a variety of opponents and maintaining an element of fun and to keep the games flowing to suit the number and standard of players each evening.

Please come along any Wednesday evening to meet us and try us out...
